The museum will be closed fair week August 24- 29.
For 2010 season , the Holderman House and the Museum are open through December 18th.

Tea at the Holderman House

Please join "Mrs. Holderman" and staff for a relaxing afternoon enjoying our special blend of tea along with an assortment of sweets and savories. The teas are held at the Sandusky County Historical Society's Museum, located in a beautiful Victorian Home at 514 Birchard Ave., Fremont Ohio. The time is 1:00 to 3:00. A $12.00 donation is requested. Reservations are required and can be made by calling Rita at 419-684-9184.

Tea Dates for 2010:
April 15, May 20, June 17, September 23, October 21, November 18, and December 16

All teas are held on the 3rd Thursday of the month except September, which is the 4th Thursday.

May 16: Membership Meeting
The meeting starts at 2:30pm at the museum

July 17, 18: World War II History Display
The Northcoast Veterans Memorial & Museum Society will have displays at the SCHS museum and grounds. Join the Veterans Society as they display various items from D-Day and World War II.

Aug 24 - 29 Sandusky County Fair
While visiting the fair stop and see our display.

Sept 24 & 25 Sandusky County's History Road Trip
The Historical Society will join (7) other museums located in Sandusky County for this event. Times the museums will be open are Sat. 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sun. Noon to 4:00 p.m. Some museums charge other are by donations, call Rita 419-684-9184 for additional info.

Oct. 29 & 30 Wine, Cheese and Other Spirits
The society in conjunction with the Ohio Researchers of Banded Spirits is hosting a wine tasting and ghost hunt. The times for the event over Halloween weekend are Fri. 6:45 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Sat. 6:15 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The cost is $25 per person limited to 12 participants for each hunt.
