For 2011 season , the Holderman House and the Museum are open through December 18th.

Tea at the Holderman House

Please join "Mrs. Holderman" and staff for a relaxing afternoon enjoying our special blend of tea along with an assortment of sweets and savories. The teas are held at the Sandusky County Historical Society's Museum, located in a beautiful Victorian Home at 514 Birchard Ave., Fremont Ohio. The time is 1:00 to 3:00. A $12.00 donation is requested. Reservations are required and can be made by calling Rita at 419-684-9184.

April 21, May 19, June 16, October 20, November 17, and December 15

All teas are held on the 3rd Thursday of the month.

May 15: Membership Meeting
The meeting starts at 2:30 pm at the museum. There will be a program and refreshments.

July 17, 18: World War II History Display
The Northcoast Veterans Memorial & Museum Society will have displays at the SCHS museum and grounds. Join the Veterans Society as they display various items from D-Day and World War II.

Aug 23 - 28 Sandusky County Fair
While visiting the fair stop and see our display.

September 18: Membership Meeting
The meeting starts at 2:30 pm at the museum. There will be a program and refreshments.

Oct. 28 & 29 Wine, Cheese and Other Spirits
The society in conjunction with the Ohio Researchers of Banded Spirits is hosting a wine tasting and ghost hunt. The times for the event over Halloween weekend are Fri. 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and
Sat. 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The cost is $25 per person limited to 18 participants for each hunt.
